Jaguar 700P Vehicular Charger

M/A-COM, Inc. contracted Stone Mountain Design to perform a retrofit upgrade of an existing vehicular charger for their Jaguar 700P portable Land Mobile Radio. We provided industrial design, detailed mechanical design, 3D solid models and PCB layout, in addition to in-house prototyping and photo realistic color renderings. Our mechanical design solution was enhanced by an exacting FEA that we performed to verify our design. Afterwards, Stone Mountain Design coordinated new tooling development as well as modifications to existing tooling.
