IPE-200 Portable Radio

A new evolution, Land Mobile Radio transceiver that Stone Mountain Design developed for an Ericsson Private Radio Systems offering. We were responsible for the detailed mechanical design, 3D modeling, analysis, tooling and full MIL-STD 810E testing and verification for the complete mechanical package. Stone Mountain Design met an extremely aggressive six-month schedule beginning from the start of design to the product’s availability to ship. This innovative hand held product met or exceeded all of the environmental and mechanical specifications while packaged in an attractive but durable housing.
